Chris and Lynda Johnson are the clergy team at Noosa Anglican in the Brisbane Diocese.
They started there in July 2020, following a time on the ministry team at Gold Coast North Anglican.
The major part of their ministry lives was at North Pine Anglican from 1996 to 2019.
They married in 1986 and have three married children, and 7 grandchildren.
Chris grew up in Brisbane and Lynda in Wollongong. They met in Melbourne while studying theology at Ridley College.
They love being part of a church with a Vision to bring people to faith in Jesus Christ, and to see church members wholeheartedly committed and growing in discipleship.
They are both involved in the ministry of CMS, and Chris is involved in interviewing potential missionaries for CMS. He has previously been an Area Dean and Archdeacon.
Lynda is Chair of EFAC Qld, and has until recently been Chair of Council at St. Paul’s School, Bald Hills.
They love spending quality time with their family, and enjoy good coffee, good movies, and the odd easy bush or beach walk.
They both have a strong desire to see people committed to Jesus Christ, active in His Church, and growing in using their spiritual gifts. They love helping people to grow in discipleship, service and understanding the Bible, and they seek to be intentional about growing in their own leadership.
